Course completion standard
A release target, not a claim that every existing topic already meets it. Existing topic numbers and saved practice passes remain unchanged during the upgrade.
Evidence before a depth label
- At least three observable outcomes, estimated study time and prerequisites.
- At least six substantive chapters, with misconceptions and two worked problems.
- A topic-specific model and a reproducible real-data or official-document exercise.
- An applied deliverable assessed for accuracy, reproducibility, judgement and communication.
- At least 25 topic-specific questions across three difficulty levels; capability mapping and distractor rationale.
- Versioned sources, applicable dates, review due dates and a linked change-review queue.
- Named academic and industry reviewers must sign off before a topic is described as independently reviewed.
Current upgrade status
Topics 30, 50 and 60 are applied capstone workspaces with distinct decision briefs, numerical anchors, deliverable lists, four-dimension rubrics and browser-local draft exports. Their Self-review tabs use evidence ratings rather than a completion quiz. Quiz progress covers the other 57 topics; a saved self-review is not independent approval. Estimated effort is 3–4, 4–6 and 6–8 hours respectively; estimates are provisional, not recorded attendance or recognised CPD hours.
Topic 14 is the first expanded pilot: nine chapters, a dispatch/reserve simulator, a local AEMO CSV workflow and 28 tagged questions. A versioned five-region AEMO price snapshot is included. Independent academic and industry review remain outstanding.
Topic 26 now has six planning chapters and the 2026 ISP webinar. It remains labelled a concise workbook until its assessment and dedicated modelling work meet this standard.
Topics 15 and 16 now use the question → mechanism → worked numbers → experiment → misconception rhythm. Topic 15 has eight chapters and a constraint desk; Topic 16 has seven chapters and an FCAS capability desk. Both include prediction mode, exportable model records, a dated AEMO evidence lab and a dedicated rubric.
Each has a 30-item, three-difficulty question bank. Each server-scored attempt draws 15 questions across all six topic capabilities. Existing stage-wide revision questions are not mixed into these two assessments.
The evidence labs use real published prices. They do not yet provide complete historical constraint/price-setter reconstruction, unit-level FCAS earnings, three full labs per topic or independent academic and industry sign-off. These remain expanded pilots, not completed gold-standard certifications.
One capability registry
Identifiers follow T[topic].[capability]: T14.01–06, T15.01–06, T16.01–06 and T26.01–04. Lesson outcomes and tagged quiz questions use this same registry. Older B/D identifiers are retained as aliases, not a second scheme. Other topics remain unmapped until their outcomes and questions are reviewed. These are internal curriculum identifiers, not accredited competency units.

All 60 topics now show a compact context bar with expandable learning details. Non-pilot study times are provisional planning estimates, not measured CPD hours. Assessment counts come from the question bank; shared revision questions are identified separately.
Whole-course restructuring, cloud progress, adaptive diagnostics, six data labs and a full question-quality review are not yet complete. No university partnership or CPD recognition is implied.
