Accessibility
Clear content and usable controls are part of good teaching.
Our target
We are working towards WCAG 2.2 Level AA. This is a target, not a claim of audited conformance. An independent accessibility audit and a complete screen-reader review have not yet been completed.
The Australian Human Rights Commission's digital accessibility guidance informs this work.
Using the Academy
- Use Tab and Shift+Tab to move between controls; use Enter or Space to activate buttons and disclosures.
- A Skip to content link is available on learning pages. The mobile menu can be closed with Escape.
- Simulator number fields can be typed into directly. Model results are also shown as text or tables.
- Chapter text accompanies the learning videos. Open a video's original provider page to check its available captions.
Known limitations
- Third-party video players and publications may have accessibility issues outside our control. Caption quality and transcripts are not verified for every video.
- Some technical diagrams do not yet have a complete long description.
- Complex tables may require horizontal scrolling on small screens.
- A full keyboard, contrast and screen-reader audit across every simulator remains outstanding.
Accessibility feedback
Send a report through our private feedback form. Save your private link to read the response; no email notification is sent. See Contact and feedback to submit a report. Note which page or control is difficult to use. You do not need to disclose a disability or medical information. We do not yet publish guaranteed remediation times.
Statement updated 18 October 2026. This date is not a site-wide conformance certification.
