Is the Academy free?
All lessons and cases are open during the public beta. The beta does not enrol you in a paid subscription. Future prices and services have not been committed.
Do I need a ChatGPT account?
No account is needed to read the public beta or take its quizzes. Use Sign in with ChatGPT only when you want to save private My learning notes. Signing in does not start a subscription or enable cross-device quiz progress; that progress is currently stored in your browser.
Where should I begin?
Use the Course map to choose a route, or begin with Topic 1. Check the course guide for the distinction between in-depth topics, concise workbooks and applied capstones. All topic overviews include preparation and estimated study time; estimates are not recorded attendance.
Will I receive a certificate or CPD hours?
The Academy does not currently issue verified certificates, digital badges or attendance-hour statements. Quiz passes are practice results, not independently assessed competence. Keep your own learning record and check your professional body's requirements; no Engineers Australia approval or automatic CPD acceptance is claimed.
Where are my progress and notes saved?
Quiz passes, unfinished quiz choices, your last learning position and Apply it working notes are stored on this browser when storage is available. A draft resumes with the same question and option order; if the question set changes, old choices are not reused. Drafts are not passes. They do not sync across devices. Download working notes before clearing browser storage. The separate My learning notes feature requires sign-in and an explicit Save notes action; check its saved/error status before leaving.
How are quizzes marked?
Questions are delivered and scored by the server. The pass threshold is 80%. Some topic quizzes draw a balanced subset from a larger bank, so the question count is not the bank size. Answers and explanations appear after submission.
Are the simulator inputs real market data?
Simulator inputs are synthetic unless explicitly labelled otherwise. Dated AEMO extracts and imported public files are identified separately. A snapshot is not a live feed, and a price observation alone does not explain its cause.
Are tutor support, team licences or assessed portfolios included?
Not currently. The public beta is self-paced. Tutor marking, scheduled live sessions, team administration and independently assessed portfolios are not included or available to purchase.
How can I report a problem?
Use Contact for the available feedback route. Include the page URL, topic, expected result and what happened. For a numerical issue, include units and inputs; do not share confidential workplace data.
